Knoxoleum, Burghausen, Germany, Monday, October 6, 2014

Knoxoleum1The photo tells most of the story- in southernmost Germany, in the old city of Burghausen , a stone’s throw from Austria across the Donau River, sits Knoxoleum, a venue carved out of 500 year-old buildings and renovated by Franz, the owner, in the quirkiest, most glass-centered, fashion that one can imagine. The venue is a cave where people lived 500 years ago. I want to send my thanks to Franz, to Muk Heigl, and above all to my Deep Elem friends: Hans, (who took and sent me the photo) Marian, Harald and Monika, who made me feel so welcome. Bis bald.

Chris
