I received a nice surprise prior to my trip to the Smoky River Festival in Salina, Kansas- an invitation to perform on air for Radio Kansas’ popular nightly (except for Sundays) show Nightcrossings. It was a performance/interview format, in a studio space at the Radio Kansas office in Hutchinson, made even more enjoyable when several staffers and friends dropped in to listen and give the show a live feel. We recorded about 6-7 tunes, and did a nice interview with Nightcrossings producer Michael Ables, with great support from Danielle Pia and Ken Baker at the station. Thanks to all.
